73-87 Chevy Pickup Cluster Backlight Harness

This is a hard-wired replacement for the factory 1/4-turn connectors that hold the bulbs for your gauge backlights.  In my experience, no matter how many times I clean the electrical contacts on the factory receptacles, and no matter how many times I adjusted the copper contacts, the factory receptacles become inconsistent in their electrical connection, and random dash lights will go out.  This kit allows you to directly wire the gauge back lights into the wires going to the HVAC controls.  No more intermittent back lights on the gauge cluster. This unit does not affect use of the heater controls.
